XC-1200X EtchedGlass is a light-greyish translucent PVC film with the same characteristics and specifications as the ordinary XC-1200 version, except that the adhesive layer has very small air ducts to allow for easier dry application.
Why AirScape™ air ducts
When cut text or figures are transferred onto glass by means of application tape,
this becomes amazingly easy with XC-1200X.
This means the film can be installed dry without creating air bubbles. Small cut details or letters pose no problem. The micro air ducts become invisible after installation.

This film is intended for use with digital printers that use eco-solvent-, hardsolvent, UV- and latex inks. The appearance of the film after printing is remarkable; coloured prints which appear to be etched in to the film and will give the glass a great look. This film stays nice and flat on your printer thanks to its moisture-proof liner.
Interesting:
If fast installation with guaranteed strong adhesion is required, we recommend using SOTT 600-Z0314 Right-On application fluid 600-Z0314. This ensures particularly strong adhesion thanks to the special humidifiers; effective after approx. 3 minutes.
